If you have any questions not covered below, or you would like to discuss your treatment options before making a booking, please contact me and I’ll do my best to help.
Cash, credit/debit card.
Yes, I’m qualified to work with you throughout your pregnancy but it’s always worth checking with your doctor or midwife before your first session especially if you have had any complications. Check out my pregnancy massage page.
It can be uncomfortable but it should never be painful. Pain is your body’s warning sign that something is wrong. The purpose of massage is to reduce pain and restore function, not to risk making things worse! Of course, everyone’s pain threshold is different which is why I encourage feedback during your treatment to ensure that I’m working within yours.
Please let me know at the time of booking or give me a call to discuss prior to booking. I have many oils and facial products to choose from and can arrange for you to pop in for a patch test to ensure you won’t have an adverse reaction.
If you have any contagious, infectious condition and/or a fever then you will not be able to have a treatment until you are better. If you have an appointment booked, please contact me to reschedule. If you have an ongoing medical condition, please speak to your doctor in the first instance but in many cases massage can be beneficial. You CANNOT have massage if you are undergoing treatment for DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis/blood clots).
If you are having a massage treatment, you will need to undress to your underwear. If you would rather wear a pair of shorts, that’s fine. Your comfort is always a priority and areas not being massaged will be covered with a towel.
This treatment is delivered with clients in a side-lying position.
