Getting Back to Real Food

A recipe for real health and fitness.

We've long advocated and advised on the benefits of a diet of "real food" but what do we mean by that?  Well, we mean foods that are fresh, natural and un-processed.  Foods that you might have been able to get your hands on a thousand years ago.  Before we invented oh-so clever ways of making non-foods and chemicals into something edible.

So much of our modern diet is made up of non-foods, chemical and processed ingredients that it is actually toxic to the body.  The result of this is plain to see in our health and disease levels.  We are at present the sickest most medicated we have ever been and it's our nutrition that has got us to this sad state.
To get our message across we have been offering nutritional coaching and metabolic typing advice for some considerable time and we have had some fantastic successes.  All manner of maladies can be resolved with the right nutrition.  We've seen back complaints get better, skin clear-up, mouth ulcers disappear, energy levels soar and fat drop like a stone all from proper nutrition.  It's powerful stuff!

We know this and we want to share this revelation with as many people as we can.  To this end we have decided to offer regular nutrition and lifestyle events at the clinic as our answer to the sea of "reality" diet and exercise shows that preach a life of restriction and misery like 'Biggest Looser' and 'Fat Fighters'.

We'll be running workshops every month for 4 month period, kicking this off at the end of February with an introduction to Real Food and how to determine what is the right fuel for you.

If you've tried diets before and found that the results are short term of you just couldn't stick to them I encourage you to come along to this first session.  It can literally change you life, we've seen it happen before!

To ask us questions or to register your interest give us a call on 02393 233140 or email info@on-the-bench and we'll be happy to help.
The date and time of this first workshop is open to group consensus so if you have a preferred time or date please let us know, we'll go with what works for you.
